Let go, burn up and break free from demons of the past and whatever holds us back. In this workshop we will use meditation and art to understand our inner world, then purify and release any dark elements in a simple ritual using fire inspired by Buddhist fire offerings. Join us for a fun and fulfilling journey to make way for welcoming all good things in the new year!

/ winterly snacks and drinks like mulled wine, chai tea and biscuits☕

/ musical performances🎶

In this workshop, we will use our basic human impulse to rest in a natural state, create from a place of intuition, and cleanse by letting go.

Minette will lead a series of meditation sessions based on Buddhist principles and practices which build mindfulness, courage, and calm. In between, participants are invited to participate in simple creative activities that involve playing with color, shapes, gestures, and forms. We may also explore some basic Buddhist iconography to learn about how they can support our meditation practice. In the end, participants are welcome to participate in a fire offering where they can ritually burn representations they would like to purify.

We will explore ways to bring our inner mental and emotional images into the world, so that we can discover, heal, and become free. No previous experience in art or meditation is necessary. It can be helpful to come ready to play openly and be surprised.
